Stuck Inside Wooden Wall Hanging

$95.00

This lightweight wooden piece comes with a built-in wall hanger and has been created with vintage postal stamps and various found papers. The piece measures approximately 12.25 inches in length and makes for a fun addition to any living space or for a poetry lover! This piece includes a quote (in the bottom left area) by William Blake from Auguries of Innocence: “ To see a world in a grain of sand, and a heaven in a wildflower, hold infinity in the palm of your hand and eternity in an hour.”

Poor Eddie had a big trip planned, but in a strange turn of events, it’s raining indoors and he’s stuck. We’ve all had these sorts of days, consider the storm as a metaphor for anxiety and doom (Plus the Wi-Fi is out, oh no)!

When I was a small girl, the main contact I had with my grandparents was by aerogramme. (That’s a special trip-folded paper letter sent from overseas, traditionally light blue in color). From these interactions, I began collecting postage stamps. This is how my ongoing series titled Love from Abroad was born.
